How it works

Your money, as time, in six quick looks

No jargon and no spreadsheets. Swipe, tap a step or let it play: the whole idea in under a minute.

Step 1 of 6

Say what you have

Type the cash you hold today: bank, wallet and notes together. That is the starting line.

  • Bank, wallet and notes all count.
  • A rough number is fine; correct it any time.

Add what you spend each month

Rent, bills, school, instalments. Together they are your burn: what a month costs to live.

  • Rent, bills, school, instalments and subscriptions.
  • Weekly or yearly costs are turned into a monthly burn for you.

Cash becomes time

Cash divided by burn is how long you can go. It ticks down live, so every month, week and day is visible.

  • Cash divided by burn is how long you can go.
  • It ticks down live, and every move changes it.

Just talk to it

Say what happened, or paste the bank or wallet message. It logs the move and shows what it did to your time.

  • Speak, type, or paste a bank or wallet message.
  • You see what each move did to your time at once.

Try a decision first

Before you buy, cut or borrow, see it as days gained or lost. Then choose with your eyes open.

  • Test a purchase, a cut or a loan before you commit.
  • Combine ideas, or tap your savings to see your safety net.

It never flatters you

Late bills count as spent. Money you only expect stays out of the clock until it really lands. What you owe comes off your cash.

  • Missed payments are money already gone.
  • Expected income is shown, but never counted early.

Talk to your money

Just talk to your money.

Tap the microphone and say what happened, in English or বাংলা. Log a payment, update your balance, add a card, a deposit or a medicine, or ask what you can afford. It shows you what it understood, and nothing is saved until you say yes.

Things you can simply say

  • Log what you spent or earned
  • Update your balance after a few days away, and explain the gap later
  • Add bills, cards, deposits and money you expect
  • Track medicines for yourself or your family
  • Set a goal and add to it as you save
  • Ask what you can afford, answered in time

Voice is free to start. Pro adds natural-sounding replies read aloud.

What is inside

More than a balance. A plan.

TimeIsMoney reads your real numbers and tells you where you stand, what comes next, and what each choice costs in time.

A hand holding a phone over a card reader
  1. An advisor that knows your numbers

Ask by voice or by typing. It sees your cash, costs and spending, shows where you are on the road to financial freedom, and gives one clear next step in plain words.

  2. A clock you can trust

Missed payments count as spent. Income you are expecting never counts until it has landed, so a client who pays late cannot flatter your clock. Everyday spending shows up in a realistic runway. No flattering numbers.

  3. Every choice, in time

See a purchase as days of runway and as hours of your own work, at the burn rate of the day you made it.

  4. It learns your rhythm

Which weekday costs you most, how your pay day shapes the month, which months and festivals run hot. Worked out from your own history, and only once there is enough of it to be true.

  5. Goals with a pace

Save toward something, or hold months of costs in cash. Say or type "save 50,000 for a bike by March" and the advisor sets it up once you confirm. Each goal shows the monthly amount it needs, what you actually keep, and what it equals in days of runway.

  6. Log a payment from the message

Paste a payment SMS or share it straight to the installed app: bKash, Nagad, UPI, M-Pesa, JazzCash, bank and card alerts from many countries. It reads the amount, currency, direction and transaction ID on our server, and you check it before it saves. The message is never stored. If our patterns cannot read one, you can choose to have an AI read it, with phone and account numbers hidden first.

  7. Any currency, at today's rates

Log a payment in euros or taka and keep one set of books, converted at daily market rates. Show numbers in Bangla digits if you prefer, set your own time zone, and turn on two-factor sign-in. Export or delete everything, any time.

  8. A map of where it all went Pro

Every source of income flowing through your cash to rent, tools, food and savings, for the last six months. One picture where a spreadsheet would give you a hundred rows.

  9. Advice that knows what the world is doing Pro

Open data from the World Bank tells the advisor what inflation is really costing the cash you leave idle, and whether your deposit beats it. Public holidays warn you when a bill lands on a closed bank day.

  10. Your rates against the market's Pro

See your deposit next to what banks in your country typically pay, and your card installments next to typical lending rates, from World Bank data.

  11. Shared books, safe by design Max

Invite people as editors or view-only. Every change to a money move is logged with who made it and when, and nobody can edit the log.

  12. Invoices that feed your runway Max

Send invoices and quotes. Unpaid ones become money owed and flow into your runway. Statements and company roll-ups included.

Built on open data (World Bank, Nager.Date, exchange-api). Only a country or currency code is ever requested; nothing about you leaves your account.

For everyone

Money looks different in every home.

Some people are paid monthly, some by the job, some in two currencies. Some send money home. TimeIsMoney takes the shape of your life instead of asking you to fit a template.

Why this works

Because “$400” feels abstract. “4 days” doesn’t.

Most of us don’t feel money leave until rent is due. TimeIsMoney shows spend as days of life left — the unit people already understand and protect.

Feels 2×

Losing hits harder than gaining

A weekend spend of $400 is easy to shrug off. “You just lost 4 days” is harder to ignore — so you pause before you tap pay.

Built on loss-aversion research (Kahneman & Tversky)

Days > $

Days feel real. Balances don’t.

“$8,000 in the bank” sounds fine. “78 days left” is a countdown you can feel — like days until payday.

Near, concrete time changes decisions (construal research)

Before you pay

Feel the cost before the money leaves

Cards and wallets make spending painless. Showing days lost before you confirm puts the “ouch” back — early enough to change the choice.

Most people are already running tight

Guides say keep a few months of expenses. Many households don’t. Seeing runway makes that gap visible — not scary for drama, useful for planning.

One number

“I still have money somewhere” is a trap

Today vs later

Today always wants to win

Impulse buys win because tomorrow feels far. A ticking runway puts tomorrow’s cost on today’s screen — in days you don’t want to lose.

Hearing replies read aloud in a natural voice is a separate allowance: about 12 replies a month on Pro and 24 on Max, counted by characters and renewing on the 1st. It is a text-to-speech service we pay for per use, so it is capped. When it is used up, or on Free, replies are read in your browser’s own voice. Speaking to the advisor has its own monthly allowance, shown above.
